Dark green 3/4-leather, gilt accents, five raised bands, title label in burgundy and gilt, textured dark green cloth, marbled endpapers and text block edges. A once-elegant custom binding of the period, rather compromised by ex-library status but fundamentally sound. Both joints are rubbed, with leather separated along portions of seams, but binding remains firm. Leather rubbed at corners, with underboards exposed at bottom, a bit chipped at head of spine.
