Mostly complete 50-year run of the journal, published annually, consisting of Volumes I-III, V-IX, XI-XXV, XXVII, XXIX-XXXXI, XXXXIII-XLXIX [1-3, 5-9, 11-25, 27, 29-41, 43-49], originally issued 1963-2013, lacking volumes 4, 10, 26, 28, 42 for completion. Early volumes booklets with stapled bindings, spiral-bound from Vol. 33 forward. Vols. I-3 issued in 3 issues each, all others issued as single annual volume. Vol. I is here given in photocopied form, all other volumes original. Vol. XLVIX [49] mislabeled as XLVIV [44]. The first several volumes are approx. 50 pp. each, quickly expanded, most volumes 125-150 pp., all illustrated. Uniformly light handling wear, clean interiors, nicely preserved. Also includes 1) Vol. I-XX [1-20] index, issued 1985, 2) Frostburg's State College: A Monument to Miners, by Betty Van Newkirk, published by the Council in 1996, and 3) 4 duplicate issues and a second issue each of the index and Frostburg College history, thus 52 volumes total. A rare opportunity to obtain a near-run of this influential folklore and regional history journal.
