Complete in two (2) volumes, uniformly bound in dark royal blue cloth, lettered and elaborately decorated in gilt, deckled text block edges with top edge in gilt. Set is ex-library with handwritten call number on lower spine of each volume, interiors typically marked/stamped, but only modest wear. Cloth shows some rubbing along edges with minor exposure to several corners, a few light surface marks to back covers, with Vol. I back cover board lightly creased on lower portion. Gilt on spine panels rather dulled, remaining bright on front covers of both volumes. xxxvii,318 + xiii,340 pp., illus. w/ b&w plates. 1st edition: Nov. 1907.
