Printed on 70-lb Mead enamel paper. xiv,814 pp., illus. w/ charts, full color inserts, 294 diagrams and line drawings, 219 b&w photographs, 34 microphotos. As issued. Housed in light blue cloth-covered slipcase, very slightly soiled but essentially as issued. Inscribed by author to Ted Dolmach, dated 12 May 1971, on half-title. Appears to be among a very limited number of custom leather-bound copies, slipcased, not the standard blue cloth in dust jacket.
