Cloth 8vo - over 7" - 9" tall. Good.
Dark green pebbled cloth, decorated in blind, lettered in gilt on upper spine panel. 400 pp. Modest shelf wear, somewhat compromised cosmetically by dampstaining that has resulted in spotting to portions of both covers and darkening to upper front cover, evident as mild staining to about the first 100 pages of the interior. Text block edges darkened, mild scattered foxing to interior. Silverfishing has resulted in loss along edges of front pastedown only. Rubbed with minor loss at head of spine, mild exposure to corners. Despite the above defects, this copy retains a firm, intact binding and remains quite useful. Howes M 796. Rather scarce. 031391
